The generic 'Google Gemini / Imagen / Veo' entry is replaced by three pages: Nano Banana (images, incl. Imagen), Google Veo (video) and Google Flow. Verdicts now differ by route: the Gemini app and Flow are unknown, the Gemini API and generally available Vertex AI models are yes, and Vertex AI preview models are no (evaluation only). The old address redirects to Nano Banana. Source

Dreamina's terms say the service is 'generally provided for private, non-commercial use', with commercial use only where additional terms permit. The BytePlus ModelArk API says you own the output (not available in the US). Source

Both have Apache 2.0 open weights. The Qwen app and Qwen Studio are private and non-commercial only. wan.video assigns you rights in outputs and has no non-commercial clause. Source
-
Vidu: commercial use for paid users only. PixVerse: outputs limited to non-commercial use unless separately licensed. Hedra: you own inputs and outputs. HunyuanVideo licence: not valid in the EU, UK or South Korea. Source

HeyGen Voice (instant and professional voice clones, text to speech) launched in October 2026 under HeyGen's main terms. The terms updated on 15 October 2026 add that free-plan output may not be sold, monetized or used for advertising or client work. Source

Kling's Terms of Paid Service (effective 2026/10/10) say members' commercial use of output 'is not restricted'. Without a membership, the main terms require Kling's written permission for commercial use. The verdict changed from unknown. Source

OpenAI shut the Sora web and app versions on 26 April 2026 and the Sora API on 24 September 2026. The OpenAI entry now covers ChatGPT images only. Source

Verdict rule clarified: ownership + no non-commercial clause = Yes
When a tool's terms give you ownership of outputs (or assign it to you) and contain no clause limiting use to non-commercial purposes, we mark the plan Yes. This now applies consistently, including Wan (hosted) and Hedra. Kling was rechecked against its paid terms. Source

Under our verdict rule, xAI's terms let you keep ownership of output and don't limit commercial use, but they require you to attribute the output to the service (per xAI's brand guidelines). So the verdict is 'depends': you can sell, as long as you credit the service. Source

We reread Synthesia's Customer Terms (effective 20 July 2026). The customer owns all Customer Data, which is defined to include Output, and nothing limits use to non-commercial purposes. Synthesia's own content, such as stock avatars, stays theirs, and the Acceptable Use Policy bars stock avatars in paid social ads without written consent. Source

Amazon KDP's content guidelines and Etsy's Creativity Standards block automated checks, so on 2026-10-17 we copied their text from the live pages in a browser and checked every quote against that copy; we will re-capture them automatically when possible. Speechify's terms were captured in a browser. KDP: AI-generated content must be disclosed, even if heavily edited; AI-assisted doesn't. Etsy: seller-prompted AI art is allowed with disclosure in the listing, prompt bundles aren't. Speechify: only Voice Over Studio output may be used commercially. Source
